On February 14, the world observed International Childhood Cancer Day, and our partner schools showed up in powerful ways.On Saturday the 15th of February, students, staff, and parents from The Roman Ridge School hit the streets of Accra for a 5km and 11km walk, carrying a banner that read: “Brave Hearts, Bright Futures.” This action was the fourth event in the series of activities planned by final year students to raise Gh100,000 to support treatment and diagnostics.

Meanwhile, students at Prima Academy and Brainbirds Academy went digital; crafting heartfelt campaigns and letters of hope to kids battling cancer. Their messages flooded social media with love and solidarity: “You are not alone. We see you. We stand with you.”

It was a beautiful reminder that awareness begins with action, and every voice makes a difference.
