On June 28, 2025, our Executive Director, Akua Sarpong, was recognised by JoyNews (Multimedia Group) as one of Ghana’s Top 10 Unsung Heroes, people whose work is transforming lives across the country.
Akua was celebrated for her impact in the health sector, turning the pain of losing her child into the founding of Lifeline for Childhood Cancer Ghana, a lifeline now extended to hundreds of families.
This national platform honoured changemakers across education, health, social welfare, and sanitation, with each awardee receiving a plaque and additional benefits that support their ongoing efforts.
