The CEO of Korle – Bu Teaching Hospital Dr. Opoku Ware Ampomah and Akua Sarpong CEO of Lifeline for Childhood Cancer Ghana Celebrates site handing over and sod cutting ceremony of the construction of a multi-purpose 40- Bed block for children.

Lifeline for Childhood Cancer Ghana is a non profit organization and fundraising partner of the pediatric oncology unit of the Korlebu Teaching Hospital in Ghana.

The new site for the construction of a 40 bed Block forms part of project infrastructure to commemorate Korle Bu Teaching Hospital ‘s 100 years in existence and also represents Lifeline for Childhood Cancer Ghana’s commitment to advocating for childhood cancers to receive the national recognition and attention it deserves. It is expected that the construction will enhance the patient bed challenge, improve quality of care and overall enhance patient experience at the Hospital.

The establishment will be constructed with support from donors including Enterprise Group, Ghacem, VPL Constructuction, Domod, Brenna Foundation, Ecobank Ghana amongst other stakeholders.

The event was witnessed by the presence of esteemed guests and management of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.
